Adept Plumbing & Gas - Drain MaintenanceDrain cleaning

If you have drains that are blocked or overflowing, it is important to remedy this issue as soon as possible. A common issue this can cause is water back-filling up drains into walls and ceiling cavities, causing serious damage to your property. The health risk of drainage water overflowing into any area of you property should not be ignored.

Over a period of time deposits such as tree roots, fats, silt and scale build up inside pipes, reducing the hydraulic efficiency of the drain.

Our sewer jet compressor sends 21 litres per minute (at a pressure of 5000PSI) to the blockage in your drains through a rotational cutting head.

Rear facing jets drive the jet rod through the drain to the problem area where the forward facing cutting jets blast through the obstruction. Once the head can pass through the blockage the rear facing jets can then further break up the blockage and flush them through the line. The deposits are flushed out of the pipe and the drain is returned to a free flowing condition.

We also carry Venturi pumps that  are used to pump out large volumes of water in situations such as an internal flood within your property.

Our sewer jet can also remove graffiti, clean floors and cleaning the inside of tanks. The versatility of high pressure water jetting is endless.

Drain Inspections

Once your drain has been cleared, Adept plumbing and gas recommends carrying out a color CCTV inspection of the line. The drain camera footage is uploaded to YouTube, which can then be viewed by the client at their leisure.

Our Rigid Scout Locator accurately positions the cause, as well as the depth of the blockage. Adept Plumbing and Gas can then provide an accurate quote for  the remedial works required to remove blockages, repair the drain and ensure it is back to perfect condition.

Pre-Purchase House Plumbing Surveys

Adept now offers a brilliant ‘peace of mind’ service. When purchasing a home, consider a House Plumbing Survey. We’ll inspect the entire property to ensure drains, water and septic systems are fully operational with no leaks or blockages.

Imagine finding you have a problem with your drains, after your purchase is complete. Especially if it is a waste or complex drainage problem. What would it cost to dig the road up, or replace an entire septic system?

A video of the survey is presented to the customer, along with a comprehensive report. We will also recommend any remedial work that may be identified from the survey and supply a quotation, giving you further information that may aid you in negotiation when making your purchase.
