Don’t let the baby face fool you. Heath has been around plumbing his entire life. Coming from a family of plumbers, it was almost inevitable he would end up in the trade himself. Thankfully for us, his family is back in New Zealand, which is how we managed to snag him.
As one of our senior plumbers, Heath plays an important role in mentoring our apprentices, not only in the technical side of plumbing but also in customer service and communication. He understands that great plumbing is only part of the job. How you treat people and manage a job from start to finish matters just as much.
Heath is a true all-rounder with experience across maintenance plumbing, drainage and rural plumbing, although drainage work is where he really shines.
Outside of work, Heath is a busy dad to three young children and volunteers with the Rural Fire Brigade. He always seems to have a project on the go, whether it’s cars, boats, bikes or anything else that lets him get his hands dirty and feel like he’s achieved something with his day.
You may not recognise Heath from his photo when he arrives though. Sightings without his trademark bucket hat are rare.
