Adept Plumbing & Gas began in Daisy Hill in 2009, when Matt Carter set out on his own with a clear idea of the kind of plumbing business he wanted to run: one that took on the jobs other tradespeople turned away from, and backed every diagnosis with the right equipment and training rather than guesswork.
That reputation for solving the problems others couldn’t is what carried the business from a one-man operation into a team of 12. Growth was never the goal for its own sake. Matt and Andrea have been deliberate about staying the size they can properly look after, rather than chasing the title of Brisbane’s biggest plumbing company.
Andrea joined the business to run the side of it that keeps everything moving: scheduling, customer service and administration, so every job is communicated clearly from the first call to the final clean-up. Matt, now with more than 35 years in the industry, still gets on the tools himself for the complex jobs, and takes an active role mentoring the next generation of plumbers coming through the team.

Couldn't be happier with the installation of the new hot water system! The guys came out and braved the heat and it is truly appreciated.

Fantastic experience start to finish. The booking process was easy, communication excellent and the pricing was more than fair.
What really set them apart though was the team themselves. Andy made the booking process seamless and was so friendly and easy to deal with. John did the inspection and was equally great. He took the time to explain everything and showed me how things worked which I really appreciated.

Had a great experience from start to finish plumber arrived on time diagnosed the issue had a water leak from a pipe leading from the downstairs bedroom to the upstairs bathroom.
Had to cut a hole in the wall to make the repair.

We utilised Adept for a tricky and stressful leak situation at Eight Mile Plains, near Sunnybank / Robertson. We contacted Matt over the weekend and he was helpful and responsive over the phone, even FaceTiming to help us narrow down the source of the leak. Zac then came out on Monday and promptly and accurately located the leak with thermal imaging and a snake camera. It is worth noting previously another plumber had already came out and was not able to accurately locate the leak, so we're very pleased with the work and won't hesitate to use them again.
Highly recommend Adept Plumbing. The staff are all so friendly, helpful and efficient. I can't thank Caitlin, Matt and John enough for organising and fixing my gas pipe so quickly. I am so happy with John's workmanship and attention to detail. Thank you all once again.

Heath and Joe were very honest and friendly on there arrival. It was clearly explained what the problem was. There quote was much better than others, thus we gave them the job.

Extremely impressed with the speedy and professional service! Called them in the morning and get the leak fixed by 11am. Took only 15 minutes or so.
