- Consultation. We begin by reviewing your plans before attending site to discuss your renovation in detail, assessing the existing plumbing, identifying any potential challenges and suggesting practical solutions before work begins.
- Drainage Preparation & Install. Safety is always our first priority. Before excavation begins, we complete the appropriate service location procedures, and where required carry out CCTV drain inspections to assess the existing drainage system. Our in-house excavation team allows us to remain flexible as projects evolve, while our plumbers work efficiently and leave the site safe and tidy at the end of each day.
- Rough In & Elevated Drainage. Before commencing the rough-in, we recommend having your plumbing fixtures selected so their locations can be accurately planned. We’ll walk through the project with you on site to confirm the placement of toilets, vanities, showers, sinks and other fixtures before installation begins.
- Fit Off. Once the cabinetry, tiling, flooring and painting have been completed, we return to install your fixtures, appliances and tapware. Every installation is carefully tested before we leave site, and where required we’ll coordinate the relevant council inspections to keep your project compliant and progressing smoothly.

Can you move plumbing to a new location?
Absolutely. We regularly relocate water, drainage and gas services as part of renovation projects. A site inspection and consultation is an essential first step, allowing us to assess your existing plumbing and identify any compliance requirements, including checking the Overflow Relief Gully height, tempering valve requirements and whether your water pressure complies with the recommended maximum of 500 kPa.
Do I need a plumber before my renovation starts?
Yes. Engaging your plumber early allows us to review your plans, identify potential challenges and ensure your proposed plumbing layout is practical, compliant and achievable before construction begins, often preventing costly changes later in the renovation.
Can you work with my builder or cabinet maker?
Yes. We regularly work alongside builders, kitchen companies, cabinet makers, designers and other trades to ensure every stage of your renovation runs smoothly.
Can you supply fixtures and tapware?
Yes. You’re welcome to supply your own fixtures and tapware, or we can source quality products through our trusted suppliers. One advantage of purchasing through Adept Plumbing & Gas is that we manage the entire warranty process should a product develop a fault, organising the replacement, handling the warranty claim and returning to install it.
Do you complete the rough-in and fit-off?
Yes. We manage every stage of the plumbing process, from the initial rough-in through to the final fit-off, testing and commissioning of your fixtures and appliances, along with gas installations, appliance relocations and any associated drainage.
Is my renovation protected with home warranty insurance?
Yes. Where required under Queensland legislation, we arrange QBCC Home Warranty Insurance for eligible renovation work, providing long-term protection and additional peace of mind for your investment.
